Weidian, Taobao and 1688 links explained

Every QC album belongs to one listing on one marketplace. To find it, QC Finder needs two things from your link: which marketplace, and the listing's ID number. Here's where to find both.

Weidian

Weidian is a small-shop marketplace, popular with sellers who focus on one product category.

• Item link: weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7234567890
• The ID is the number after itemID=.
• Shop links (weidian.com/?userid=…) are stores, not items, so they don't have QC albums of their own.

Taobao and Tmall

Taobao is the biggest marketplace; Tmall is its branded-store side. They share IDs.

• Item link: item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=712345678901
• Tmall: detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=712345678901
• Share text from the app contains a short link and Chinese text. Paste it all into QC Finder, or open it and copy the full address.

1688

1688 is Alibaba's wholesale site. Many factories list there before their products show up on Taobao.

• Item link: detail.1688.com/offer/712345678901.html
• The ID is the number before .html.

Agent links

An agent product page is a wrapper around one of the links above. The marketplace link is usually inside it, encoded:

• KakoBuy: kakobuy.com/item/details?url=https%3A%2F%2Fweidian.com%2Fitem.html%3FitemID%3D…
• Oopbuy: oopbuy.com/product/weidian/7234567890
• Others use a shop_type or platform parameter plus an id.

QC Finder reads all of these, so you never need to convert a link yourself to look up QC. See the page for your agent for its exact format.

Why the same item has many IDs

Popular products are sold by dozens of sellers, each with their own listing and ID. QC albums are tied to one listing, so if one seller has no photos yet, another seller's listing of the same product might have plenty.
